Tentative Agreement and ratification

 Great news! The tentative agreement has been ratified with 96% approval.
All changes will take effect on October 1, 2025.

September 23 -Tentative agreement has been reached

 The Board and Employer have reached a tentative agreement, with the final language and details now being completed. Once this process is finished, a summary of the agreement will be shared with the membership, followed by a ratification vote.

The ratification process will include:

  • Site visits at locations with larger groups of members
  • An online meeting for all members to review the agreement and ask questions
  • A vote in which all members will have the opportunity to participate
     

Please watch your email for a copy of the agreement and an invitation to the online meeting. The agreement and ratification details will also be posted here on the website once available.

September 17 - Bargaining is continuing

The employer and the Association are continuing bargaining discussions this week with the hopes of concluding the bargaining process within the next two weeks. Watch your email inbox and junk folder in the next couple of weeks for an email from the association with the information regarding a proposed agreement and directions for casting your vote. 

August 18 Bargaining session

The first bargaining session has been set for August 18. The Board has met and determined the following focus areas based on employee feedback:

  • A compensation package that reflects competitive wages and the costs of working in the Construction Industry
  • Incentives for workers to take on extra responsibilities, apply specialized skills, and stay with Kinetic long-term
  • Adequate time for workers to rest, relax, and rejuvenate.
