RRSP Provider change

Kinetic has initiated a switch of provider for the Group RSP from the Royal Bank to Canada Life. Canada Life offers similar products for lower management fees and better service, resulting in more money in employee's accounts. 

KEA members who pass the 6 month employment threshold are entitled to a 3% matching RSP program, 5% for those who have been with the company for 10 years or more. Please click on the link below to get more information.

Kinetic has initiated a switch of provider for the Group RSP from the Royal Bank to Canada Life. Canada Life offers similar products for lower management fees and better service, resulting in more money in employee's accounts. It was brought to Management's attention that any decision related to the Collective Agreement, like this one, requires consultation with the Employees' Association. While we recognize this as a procedural oversight, we are pleased that management has committed to involving us in all future discussions related to the collective agreement.


Despite being an afterthought,  the KEA Board of Directors agrees with the change, as it offers clear benefits to our members. Our priority remains ensuring that any adjustments to employee compensation or provisions align with the best interests of our members, and we are confident that this change does just that.


Kinetic Employees' Association is a union that represents the interests of workers at Kinetic Construction and Kinetic Environmental.


Joining the Kinetic Employees' Association is a condition of employment at Kinetic Construction and Kinetic Environmental. All employees complete a membership card during orientation. 


 Dues are $25 per month. These funds support the daily operations of the association and help build a reserve for legal support and other critical expenditures determined by the KEA board.
